IYT DAY SKIPPER / CREW SAIL

Having a desire to progress to commanding keel boats, complete your IYT Day Skipper / Crew Sail - 3-4 days weekend course on our Club's yacht Fareast 28r, after you may rent and command this sailboat or any similar <10m in length. We run this course every month, all year round and combine it with VHF course . Minimum age 16yo.

This is a 3 to 4 day course, depending on wind and conditions, aimed to deliver a safe, informed, confident and competent day sailor/skipper who can confidently command or work as crew on a sailboat up to 10 meters (32.8 feet) during daylight hours in fair conditions in inland waters (bay or lake sailing) or coastal waters up to 5 miles offshore.

✔️ Cyprus Skipper Training Center (CSTC) was established by co-founder of the Cyprus International Sailing Club (CISC) which has been awarded by Cyprus Sailing Federation as the best Offshore Sailing Club in Cyprus for 6 consecutive years.
✔️ Hundreds of people , who came as beginners and passed skippers courses, now are participants of various championships and international regattas, as well as they become skippers, boat owners.
✔️ Cyprus has unique weather conditions: never-ending sailing season , 340 sunny days per year, 90% windy.
✔️ 15 one design FAREAST 28R yachts, located in the best operating marina in Cyprus – Limassol Marina. Pier opposite TGI Friday's. We use one of these yachts for 4 days IYT Day Skipper / Crew Sail course — to command on a sailboat <10m.
✔️ Then you may continue to grow your skills taking next step courses up to Yachtmaster Offshore Power / Sail / Catamaran 24m on a cruise sailing or motor yacht or catamaran.
✔️ Holders of certain passports or Cyprus residents may apply via our school for International Certificate Of Competency (ICC) to meet UNECE IWC Resolution 40.
✔️ The school is headed by the qualified professional mariner and yachtsman. Courses are taught in English or Russian language in accordance with IYT standards and recommendations.
